Artist Statement

As an abstract and mixed media artist, my work is a visual exploration of the interplay between chaos and order, the tangible and intangible, and the known and unknown. I am fascinated by the limitless possibilities of abstraction, where I can express my emotions, perceptions, and experiences in a non-representational way, allowing the viewer to interpret and engage with the work on a personal level.

My artistic process is multidimensional, involving a diverse range of materials and techniques. I often incorporate a variety of mediums such as acrylics, oils, pastels, hand made collage, and found papers, creating layers that evoke a sense of depth and complexity. Through experimentation and spontaneity, I embrace the element of chance, allowing the materials to guide me in unexpected directions and challenging me to push the boundaries of traditional art forms.

Some of my works are characterized by dynamic compositions and bold gestures that convey a sense of energy, movement, and rhythm. Other works involving the interplay of textures, lines, shapes, and forms create a visual dialogue.

Conceptually, my art is a reflection of my inner landscape and an exploration of my surroundings and memories. It reflects my fascination with old walls, textures, the beauty of nature, or the complexities of the human mind. My aim is to evoke an emotional response from the viewer, to stir their senses, and to inspire them to reflect upon their own perceptions and experiences.

By sharing my art, I am offering a piece of my soul to the world. It is a vulnerable act, as I open myself up to interpretation and perception by others. However, it is also a gift, as I hope that my artwork becomes a source of inspiration, joy, or reflection for those who engage with it. It is my belief that art has the power to touch lives and leave a lasting impact, and I am honored to share a part of myself through my creations, allowing them to become a meaningful part of others' lives.
