Amsterdam 100x50cm

This painting, part of the Urbanscapes Series, is inspired by the cities I have lived in or visited many times. They all evoque the memories and feeling I have of them.
 
Amsterdam is where I spent 4 years of my life, and I where I keep good and bad memories. It is also where I started to paint abstract work, so it is very special to me. The Netherlands was also my first country as an expat away from home.
 
Also presented here with Montreal, which is the same height (50cm). I left Montreal for Amsterdam, and I love them both together.
